Colton Vision and Aims
Colton Primary School serves pupils from 3-11 years and is dedicated to achieving excellence, ensuring every child is happy, polite and ready to learn. We share an ethos of tolerance and kindness where everyone can be successful and the needs of the whole child are at the centre of our inclusive environment. We aim to develop resilient, inquisitive learners who achieve their highest potential through an enriched, purposeful curriculum.
We want the children to leave Colton Primary School as confident, ambitious individuals, with a respect for others and able to make a positive contribution within our rapidly changing world.
Colton Primary School chose to join the Red Kite Learning Trust in November 2018 and we look forward to working together to improve the outcomes for all of our children.
Colton Values and Ethos
Colton Primary School aims to be a place where learning is relevant, exciting and memorable. A place where children and adults are supported, and challenged to achieve their full potential. Pupils at Colton are confident, independent learners who are not afraid to ask questions of themselves and others.
Colton Primary School fosters positive attitudes to learning, where children embrace their mistakes as the next steps along their educational journey. We aim to develop children who love learning, who are intrinsically motivated and who leave our school confident in their abilities and eager to continue their education.
We value teamwork, determination and good, honest hard work. The Colton Code maintains and supports our ethos.
